2. Payment Currency, Taxes & Duties


All transactions carried out on our website are billed exclusively in Pounds Sterling (GBP £).

In strict compliance with UK import regulations following Brexit, Aura Pilates UK operates on a Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) basis for all orders shipped to the United Kingdom. This means that the final price displayed at the point of checkout is fully inclusive of all costs: it includes the applicable UK VAT (20%), all international customs duties, and any administrative clearing fees.

We guarantee that you will not be subject to any “hidden fees,” surprise customs invoices, or additional handling charges upon delivery.

Aura Pilates UK assumes full responsibility for the entire importation process and all associated costs from our European logistics centre to your UK address, ensuring total price transparency from the moment you place your order.

3. Payment Authorisation

The invoice amount is debited immediately after your order is confirmed. You will then receive a confirmation email with the details of your order. If a payment is rejected or classified as potentially fraudulent:

  • The order will not be processed.
  • You will be notified by email.
  • You may be asked to try again or use a different payment method.

4. Verification of Orders

For fraud prevention and compliance, we may contact you to confirm certain details before we process your order. This may include:

  • Verification of your email address.
  • Confirmation of your delivery address.
  • Request for proof of identity (in rare cases of suspicious activity). We reserve the right to cancel any order that does not pass our verification process. In this case, a full refund will be issued.
